Inkscape cusp node off Download + Key

When moving a path node or handle, there doesn't seem to be anyway other than zooming in to prevent snapping to nearby nodes, guides, etc. In previous versions holding Shift would do this, but this no longer seems to be the case. This makes it difficult to move handles near path nodes or guides, since they'll constantly try to snap to them instead of staying where you put them. The primary means for editing paths is to use the Node Tool to modify one or more path nodes. Paths are normally edited using the Node Tool. This flexible tool enables the addition, deletion, and movement of nodes. A Sculpting mode allows easy fine tuning of paths with many nodes.

I really like Inkscape and use it a lot for designing publication quality figures, conference posters and even presentation components. However, a feature that inskcape can just get on my nerves is the object snapping. I searched a bit and find this discussion. You are commenting using your WordPress.
